Yes. Yes they do.
It's not even that it's a problem that could've been easily solved and they fed themselves feet first into the woodchipper while telling anyone who tried to get them to stop that clearly they just hate how great the woodchipper life is. That's more tragic than anything.
It's the fact they constantly try to get others to do the same with comics like this.
I wouldn't mock them for it if they weren't coping with the fact by trying to lure other people into the quicksand along with them by telling them it's a perfect place to roll out their towel and have a sunbathe.

As it is they're the ethical equivalent of people who get diddled as kids then, instead of going to therapy and overcoming what was done to them, decide that the best alternative is becoming a pro-pedophillia advocate because 'If it's not wrong what happened to me wasn't fucked up' and go on to groom kids themselves.
