It's not, and you don't have a counter argument. It's unfortunate that BTC lost its way and the damage this has caused will and already has set us back years.

there was no biz before crypto

/biz/ is a containment board made to stop all of the crypto posting that used to plague /g/ ( back when one BTC was worth less than $100 )

there used to be a guy who spammed those kids of contracting threads (either contracting or selfemployed, i forget which ) who on a few separate occasions posted pics of himself, his wife, and his kids/grandkids

he did government contracting work for cleaning some government office buildings, apparently the hardest part of it isnt the work itself, but getting that contract in the first place

he was assigned to clean entire building every day, 8+hour job

but by skipping cleaning stuff that didnt need to be cleaned daily (no one has been in this room in over 2 weeks? then no need to clean it) he ended up only working 2 hours a night, getting paid for 8, and shitposting all night

I think he got doxed a few times (he was 60+), i wonder whatever happened to him

>>I did want to load up on BTC when it's finally out of the big media's eye on its roughly 5-7 year cycle.
january will probably be prime time to buy BTC

or january in a year or two

unless something new dethrones BTC's hegemony, which is finally becoming a real possibility

>>They should honestly just make a crypto general thread (/cmg/?) on /biz/ and force jannies to direct traffic there.
thats how it started, one general for trading coins, one general for mining coins, one general for shilling/making new coins

but the generals hit the bump limit wayyy too fast, and it began to be one general per coin (bitcoin general, eth general, ect)

but then those generals began hitting the bump limit within an hour or two as cryptos saw their prices rise up, and soon the generals stopped existing, and /biz/ became todays mess
