From what I can gather from the podcast in the general Eich is slowly adding all the features to have a fully safe and secure web 3.0 experience. The 2.0 update will bring a VPN and file sharing service paid with BAT. Email hasn't been announced but I could bet that it is in the works for some sort of colab. Like how metamask is cryptowallets.
