LA is overrun with homeless, violent criminals, many of whom are mentally diseased. They're fucking EVERYWHERE. At least in NYC the winter keeps 'em at bay. The busses were so filled with human scum I decided to walk everywhere but ended up getting physically attacked by crazy homeless people at least three occasions. I've seen them spit in random people's faces on the street. I've seen police raids downtown where they round 'em up for menacing metro riders.

The worst thing though, is how they squat in whatever little outdoor recreational space is available. Any public park is guaranteed to be overrun by homeless people sleeping or monopolizing park benches and tables all day, mean mugging anyone walking past.

Thinking back on my time in LA, it was like something out a dystopian action movie. It's not like the movies bros, it's fucking grim. There were some good times, but I'd happy never set foot within 250 miles of that shit hole ever again.
