True, there are other great cars available for that price range that might be a better fit for you. I personally love the styling of the GR Supra and the interior quality is really great. You get a good amount for the price.

Yes, there is differences. It shares a lot of components with the Z4, it even says BMW on the engine. But Toyota also had a lot to do with the car, they actually rejected BMW's first iteration of the Supra because it wasn't to Toyota's standards. Lot's of vehicles are created out of partnerships and collaborations with other manufacturers, so I'm not sure why everyone is saying the Supra is actually a Z4 (as if that's a bad thing, the Z4 is an amazing car). The GR 86 was a collaboration with Subaru, even the MK IV Supra's engine was made with Yamaha. No one is calling the A80 a Yamaha. It's just children or ignorant people who say that about the Supra.
