Decentralized Oracle Networks are also essential for any real usecase with any real value. literally every Smart Contract on the planet needs offchain data and Chainlink is currently leading with this and more services.
biggest asset managers and banks are also experimenting and planning larger implementations of Blockchain and Smart Contract technology everywhere so Chainlink usesage will only increase as will the TVL and the real world assets on chain.

Spot on. Safe bets will be BTC/ETH/LINK, but you’re probably not looking at as good of return if you gambled on low market cap projects, which let’s be honest, are a crapshoot in this market. As for HOW much, well it would depend on what you consider “making it” right? For me that’s a paid off house and at least 2MM in safe investment vehicles generating passive income of at least 4-5% consistently. I can live very frugally if need be and then use part of that passive income to re-invest in the same thing, or more risky endeavors. Either way the point is to not work for anyone ever again.

Same. I’m in the process of cashing out about 20% of my position (close to a million usd), which I’ve held now for almost 4 years. I’ve only sold very small amounts $5-10k a few times over the years. Anyway I’ve got a tax attorney going over the last 5 years and they’ll amend and pay anything that needs to be paid. Sucks but better than having the IRS coming after me when they see me pull out seven figures out of nowhere. I plan to hold the rest of my crypto for a few years after this so if it starts to get into the 8 figures I’ll likely think of more proactive tax avoidance strategies

At $20 I’d sell enough to be able to neet for a few years in which time we’d likely hit 3 digits and I could sell a bit more to permanently never have to work. I’m literally never selling a percentage of my Link for staking purposes. I might work through 3 digits though just to have some sort of passive income.

What did you buy/invest in with the cash you sold from Link? I’ve been tempted to sell a bit to use to leverage other possible investments but I’m still doing research if it’s worth not just holding a bit longer. Or sell some now and try and make money off that instead of waiting on Link.
