>You didn't address the part where the community can just fork after this attacker controls a majority of the supply and render this very expensive attack useless.
I did. An attacker could masquerade as several identities and no one would know. There could be 1000s of wallets belonging to the same whale. How would you identify him?
>What you should be worried about is whether the tech can scale and accommodate real world use cases, not about high-level conspiracy attacks that will never happen.
Every bit of financial markets has been tainted and hijacked, why you think cryptocurrencies and blockchains will be any different really surprises me. The entire Internet is being tracked. Google, Facebook, etc. leak user info. Even so-called privacy apps like Telegram leaked user info to authorities.

We've been caught into a scamdemic of epic proportions, you have Pfizer, Moderna, JJ, GSK, etc. which despite accused and recognized guilty of fraud, bribery, etc. in criminal court are given ownership over your own body (ie. take the vaxx or lose your job) and you think high-conspiracies are a meme?

You're wrong. Scaling is not the only issue. The US dollar scaled to the entire global economy kek. Is that what we want? Is it desirable?

I would say that or changing consensus to proof of stake. validators are way cheaper than miners.

it's used in the energy sector (eg. solar panels), in electronics (eg. smartphones) and there is a considerable demand in space exploration. there's too many usecases to list.

What do you consider to be reputable dealers? As a stacker, what should I go for? Just bars and rounds and avoid coins altogether? By numismatics I assume you mean coins. What dealers are 100% safe?

I read some dealers sell precious metal products with holographic safeguards. Is this legit? Are there any other type of safeguards? Should I be on the lookout for these or will I pay absurd premiums? Sorry to sound like a newfag, but I really am one.
