how new are you? I've been following this project since it was first announced. there was lots of hype before the ICO, and salt that Americans couldn't buy in. It was originally and ETH killer, but since then the pitch has changed to inrerop after the project failed to deliver things like smart contracts. turns out ETH2 took a while for a reason.

Further, if you look into the devs, it's clearly a Tron/EOS style cash grab from a guy who sold eth at $1 and is salty.

I mean yeah it is a good buy at like $4 but it's likely to bleed for a few months from today and you're better off in bitcoin or something right now.

The issue with buying DOT isn't that it won't eventually make profit, it's that there are better things to buy right now.
