The comex can prevent investors from standing for delivery by offering them an under the table cash settlement in excess of what they would have gotten arbitraging the physical metal over to a private mint.
Settlement in dollars that their long nose masters can just print infinitely.
This is how they can prevent a comex collapse.
For the time being...
In the long run you can not hold a price down forever without industrial misallocation bringing down the house of cards.
And there could be so much pressure from current industreal misallocation that our current push cant be stopped.
But I just wanted to put that idea out there.
