No other crypto company comes even close to Ripple when it comes to connections and agreements with banks, companies, and governments. XRP is the chosen coin. If some fringe group comes up with a coin that is maybe a second faster than XRP, it won't matter, not just because XRP already is fast enough that it doesn't matter anyway, but because connections matter more than almost anything.
