You zoomers weren't around for 2008. This is how it started: IndyMac collapsed. The market rallied and the fed told us everything was fine, funds were safu. Then Lehman Brothers went down a couple of months later and the market crashed and panic ensued. What we saw this week was IndyMac pt. 2. Things will appear fine for the next month or two, but make no mistake, we are on the precipice of another severe recession, possibly a depression. The fed has 2 paths at this point: Continue rate hikes and further weaken the banks, or Pause / lower rates and face an inflationary spiral. There is no way out of this at this point, thanks to the bond market and money supply contraction. Its a catch 22. If you are planning to hold your stocks, you're going to be holding bags for the next 4-8 years.

Second: I seriously fucking doubt most people who went out of their way to DRS their GME shares would fall for yet ANOTHER distraction stock.
Third: Ryan didn't rugpull anyone. He literally gave them an offer to purchase their buybuybaby subsidiary business, they were the ones who refused his offer. Had they accepted they would have had enough cash to pay off their debts, without having to resort to diluting their shareholders.
