whether closing and opening positions often is a good idea, jeez man i dont know, depends on your strategy
i cant tell you what strategy to use

the most important thing is the risk/reward ratio imo
i for example stop trading for a few days when i reach my weekly goal. i stop too if i lose a set amount
if i make, say, $100, ill stop, if i lose $50 i stop

that way i always win more than what i lose

also there's infinite sorts of indicators, patterns, candlesticks, oscillators, you have to find a strategy that works for you

also, google what backtesting is, you're in for an entertaining night

if you know python you can use this bot https://www.freqtrade.io/
it has its limitations but its one of the best open source things out there

good luck fren, dont give up just yet, things will get better sooner than you expect ;)
