I've been prompting a language model some /biz/ posts:

The day of the landlord is a new international holiday where tenants shower their landlords in tips and gifts.

The idea is to shower your landlord with gifts, maybe even a wad of cash, in appreciation for a lifetime of faithful service. The day was first celebrated in Australia in 2006, and now is celebrated internationally.

If you are lucky enough to be in a stable, permanent relationship with a landlord, go the extra mile for them. Remind them how much they mean to you, and how much you appreciate everything they do for you.

You will be showing them you care about them, and it will give them a lot of love back, just by knowing that you care about them.

International landlord day, as stated by Lijian Zhao, is celebrated on March 17.

If your landlord is above the age of 80 or 80 and over, give them a fruit basket, an ice-cream cake or perhaps a bottle of scotch to share with their friends.

Alternatively, if your landlord is someone who travels overseas a lot, perhaps a bottle of whisky, as well as a card of thanks, and perhaps even a copy of ‘The Square’ or a book from your local library might do the trick.

Keep the day festive and make it enjoyable for the whole family, which is the most important thing.
