I’ll wait on AMD until it sells off after earnings like it always seems to do.

May hang on to my SOXL until then though, sell it into earnings then use the profits to buy the dip in AMD.

I bought more Nintendies today, I like it when the US sells it off even though it rallied in Japan while the Nikkei got crushed. Looking forward to earnings... kind of hope they fuck up their direct thing and I get some cheapies.

Same shit any educated long already knows about, NO drugs on the market, no institutional buys, little insider buying (though some will say this is promising because it means if they’re currently in talks for being bought out there may be restrictions on buying—this seems highly doubtful since there has been nothing to suggest any interest in the company, and that usually coincides with promising results and institutional/hedge buying)

Add into that the fact that the company is low on money and won’t be able to get through to final phases of FDA approval without a cash injection.

Add to that the past allegations of paying promoters (of course denied and unproven but oftentimes where there’s smoke...)

Add to that they were trading at 0.75 a couple of years ago, which makes issuing shares (dilution) seem even more appealing.

(Full disclosure: I own shares and one LEAP call. But since I’ve been following the space more closely and listening to more biotech analysis... I’ve grown very skeptical. Especially since that last report where they announced that basically they’re broke)

Not historically unprecedented either. Markets at least, tend to preform very well in the first half of election years, less well the second half. Trump will pull whatever levers he has access to to juice it into his election.

Also worth keeping an eye on is the govt makework program next year: the 2020 census. Could help lower unemployment even more... until it disappears along with those jobs.
