Classical marxism where you pit economic classes against each other in order to overthrow the social order and seize power through revolution was not very successful in the West, because the working class actually saw their quality of life improve massively by a capitalist system. So the commies had to re-invent a more effective strain of marxism so they could subvert western culture and gain total political power.

So they ditched the ideas of classical economic marxism [proletariat vs bourgeois] and morphed it into cultural marxism, but kept the same dialectic of [oppressor vs victim] dynamic.

Identity groups rather than economic class.

Oppressor groups
>White, Christian, Straight, male, conservative

Victim groups
>Colored/minority, Islam, LGBTQ++, women/feminists, liberal, handicapped, etc. (keep adding groups)

This is where the concept of intersectionality comes from, which is the oppression olympics hierarchy that determines which rules apply to you. Whether you can be a racist depends on if you are white or a minority. You are judged by different moral and legal standards depending on which identity group you belong to - this is MARXISM.
