I bought my house 8 years ago for €160k. After some improvements that I made with my dad it's now worth 400k in this clown market. Very comfy place in a quiet neighbourhood that became increasingly popular.

The kicker is that I have been putting my crypto profits into yearly extra redemptions. I can redeem 10% extra penalty free (16k) and have been doing so since 2017. Since 2021 I was able to do unlimited extra payments because my interest rate (1.99%) is lower than today's market rate. So I poured in more profits. I can redeem the final 25k I have left whenever I want... but keeping it actually gives me a net tax benefit.

My interest rate is locked for the remainder of the mortgage so I'll be paying ~€100 per month for the next 22 years.

My savings account is stacked, I live here practically for free and I still have left over capital in stonks and crypto. I haven't made it, but god damn, sometimes it sure feels like it. All of this snowballed from the €500 I put into crypto in 2017 lmao.
