Easy way to make more than minimum/barely-above-minimum wage. But tops out in earning potential not all that much above that. I worked apartment maintenance for 5 years and doing this, for $250 and a weekend course, made me a property manager. But until I've got a few years of experience under my belt and can possibly make the transition to commercial-PM, I think my earning potential tops out around 60-65k, and that's factoring in a promotion or a job-hop. Beats huffing Respirable Crystalline Silica, but, not the big-bucks or even close. At this point, leasing or sales agent wouldn't be a difficult hop, but even the top-performers are subject to the seasonal nature of the business and from what I looked into it, it seemed that whole industry runs on zero-barrier-to-entry 100%-commission roles with INSANE turnover, basically churning people for all they're worth in the 9-18 months it takes them to realize there isn't a future in it.

Tell me more, though.
