You could say that but are we really that far off at this point? Its becoming impossible for a lot of companies to try to hit a global neutral audience when advertising and a lot of the companies are so goddamn big they could get away with a lot of shit. Customers at costco are far different from the customers at target. Customers at companies this big are so loyal its borderline cults, the employees at companies this big are also pretty damn SOL and would tow the line for anything too. Hell you got alliances of microsoft and fedex. Imagine a future where fedex workers are pulling guns on amazon delivery drivers and fedex is not afraid of it cause microsoft can blackmail the feds with their cloud.
