This morning, while the world was doing that thing called sleep in the US, LMT dropped 2.96%, out of nowhere. 1 hot war in Europe, a skirmish in the Red Sea, and LMT selling F35 to Israel, and they tanked almost 3% in the middle of a Tuesday morning? Oh right, because Rhienmetall has a dividend tomorrow, and shares always dump before ex-div day.
Someone holding LMT in a GoldmanSachs account had a large number of LMT at a stop-loss, and someone at GoldmanSachs wanted it at that price, imo.
