Bought nothing. Sold nothing. Only worked half a day. Took the afternoon off. To clear the air so to speak on this subject; Yeah I took out a loan to bag more KO a while back. Here's the thing though. I got the terms cheap as hell, the loan isn't hurting me any (retirement stuffing still going strong, lifestyle not hurt none, etc) and in any event hell next year I'm getting another fat salary boost anyway..

Another boring day. Only thing of any note was a co-worker told me of his wife troubles. That and I bought more KO and SWPPX. I mean strictly speaking I don't have to buy more stocks, lord knows when I retire I'll be setup pretty sweet already. But I've gotta do something with the left over green now don't I? (Blowing it on dumb shit is a waste; my emergency fund grows fatter each month already so that's out to)

Another week of work begins. Blah. Oh well least I get to relax. Funny,I get to relax more at work than I do at home.. Now that Covid is officially over it's time to party again! But did you know the cost to raise just 1 kid from birth till 18 is 16,000 a year?. Yeah.. So don't party to "much" ok..

"Oh we're doomed" "We are so fucked" "We're fucking broke as hell" Ring any bells? Oh right, they said this same shat in 2008, the late 80's, the late 70's, and 2020.. Smile, toss your money into your retirement plans, brokerage, etc and go on with life. Cause if you've paid attention right after (so to speak) all those doomsday years uh things were flying high as hell.. In other words profit and gains out the ass.

Nice weather weekend. Spent most of the day outside yesterday enjoying and doing some minor painting work on my house. Didn't cost me nothing but time due to reusing some paint I had left over. Win all around. Made the house look better, protected it from rotting (which leads to a shat load of money to repair), and got to enjoy some nice weather.

This is the time you tighten your spending belts so you can drop in a mega load when opportunity knocks. Or bag a house cheap as hell when that market shats. Hey worked for me during the 2008 fallout.

Mixed bag day. Good; KDP hiked the divvy and my 401k contribution bagged more "cheap" shares. Bad: Couldn't bag more shares in my brokerage account cause meh bills had to be paid first (plus still gotta get groceries,etc)..Letting the KO dippy pass by was hard, not gonna lie.

Yay another day is done. The weekend edges ever closer. 2 days of relaxation awaits. I've been called many things over the years. But you know before you consider me a pathetic failure perhaps you should remember the following: I've got early retirement (48 or 54; up to me), a fat pension check for life post retirement, medical coverage post retirement (hey don't knock it, unexpected medical can send you to the poor house very quick), a separate fat 401k (which I won't have to touch till I'm 72), a 401k "boost" option via vacation time rollover (free 10k boost at minimum yay), sick time credit (1 year knocked off time served at minimum) and finally this wee brokerage account and whatever cash I've got stuffed in the bank..
