Psychedelic-era (60’s-70’s) jewelry and posters fren. These are pendants made by the Grateful Dead’s lead audio technician Owsley Stanley who is also known as one of the largest LSD manufacturers in the world.

He and two others manufactured and supplied all of the LSD (hundreds of millions of hits) that fueled the “summer of love” and acid era in the state of California and across the country.

They worked with the Brotherhood of Eternal love, a hippy cult (they wouldn’t like that description) to distribute the Acid across the country while on tour following jam bands :). The chemist/audio engineer, Owsley would bring acid with him on the road and would give out hundreds of hits at shows. Most notably he doses Hugh Hefner and an entire crowd of people on his “Playboy After Dark” show by spiking the coffee

Everyone’s clearly whacked out of their mind in the video lmao.. but in his retirement he was a metal smith and made pendants to sell at dead shows. Been collecting them for decades :)
