i dont think the upsides of a family outweigh the downsides

and the downsides mainly being financial and mental health related.

Hello all,
I am 26 currently working in insurance and it is real boring, just not a good fit for me. Within the next year, I will inherit $400,000. I am considering buying 5-6 rental properties and being a full time landlord. In my area, I figure I can charge around $1200 per month per house with mortgage & homeowners insurance being about $400. So around $800 in revenue per house = $4000 a month, minus repairs, taxes etc. I know this is extremely simplified, but what do you all think about being a full time landlord?
