>when the post hits a little too close to home

I knew a billionaire who made his money by playing the stock market. He did an interview recently where he talks about his experience while driving a lambo. It was supposed to be a promo piece, but throughout the entire interview, all I could focus on was his face. Dude looked wretched even though he was loaded. And for anyone who trades, it was easy to understand his expression: he had the the face of an addict. Even the way he was talking, you could tell he'd never be able to quit, and he fucking knew it too.

It's kind of ironic: most of us start trading to break the chains in our lives; after we do it for long enough, it starts to become a lifestyle; if we lose money, trading starts to become a chain; if we make money, we start to get paranoid about protecting / growing our savings. No matter what we do, the end result is usually the same--stay in the game until you crash and burn or until you burn out.
