I showed this on here already but I bought vid related from a cash for gold shop last week for the gold value with no premium. I'm still surprised the deal went through because its a nice watch and I feel like a billionaire wearing it out in the sunshine.

Also, old gold jewelry frequently gets sold around scrap value. It's not all the time but I check periodically and can usually find a few pieces a month under the gold value.
