When they froze trading the day before they swung it from 300->100->300 again switching up their positions and then doubling down with their shorts with a 3 billion injection from their hedgie friends. Instead of just taking a loss they are going to fight back. The other hedgies are afraid that if retail/normal investors win this one time, it will embolden you to try it again. So all the hedgies and clearing houses need to stomp this out at all cost to regain control.
