Anon cost of living has gone up 100% over the last 3 years. I'm mortgage haver that debt slaved in 2018 and the house I bought for 130k on 75k salary is worth 230k. I now make 93k. I couldn't comfortably afford the my own house if I bought it today. I'm priced out of my own home. Food expense has more than doubled and its the same with fuel. My tiny lake lot I bought for 3k in 2018 is taxed at a $30k valuation now. The government got a 10X on my lot like it's a shitcoin. I'm a hoomer that bought a small town house and lake lot in 2018 in fucking Nebraska. I can only imagine the pain rentcels in low IQ coastie cities feel.
