My personal opinion is that no amount is enough. Any dollar spent on anything but silver and gold is a dollar wasted.
When it happens the only thought in your mind will be I wish I had purchased more.
So my advice is set a budget and buy some every payday or whatever.

A kilo copper bar is not that large. My previous photo was a kg. Compare that to her holding a sovereign.
You can find them on ebay if you really want one for the meme value but even then you are overpaying.

beyond that I know gold is more popular in the UK because of the lack of taxes. Best of luck.
