This kinda fee is peanuts unless they literally have a billion synthetics. Tracking the fee is useful as it gives indication of just how hard it is to come across some BBBY, not cause the fees will break their asses.

Now its truly unprecedented levels of difficulty in getting shares. It will be VERY interesting to see what happens after 20th. Cause the doomps there are used as locates for BBBY. Upon expiry, they have no locates. We will see if they can roll their shit further.

Parallel to that, its very interesting to see what is happening with BOA. Some months ago they had to literally put cardboards on their windows, and now they are getting liquidity by scooping up the cash of regular average joes, just emptying their accounts. What for? One wonders, is BOA the holder of these positions that, upon expiry of doomps, have no locates?

Which takes us back to the CTB. If they have to go and get non-swap non-doomp locates, there will be an immense difficulty of finding just regular BBBY stocks. This is why i take interest in CTB. If this situation persists, the cost will reach meme-numbers in days.
