The FUD serves a purpose. Not merely to remove you. No, it's done to actually destroy you - later, when this has reached it's potential or at least the top of the speculative bubble.
Listen, they are not even trying to make you dump to bring down the price and accumulate more. They have enough, or are all in. They want you to sell because they hate you. They want you to stay out because they hate you. And they want you to know about chainlink so that you hate yourself for not having any, later.
You can hardly imagine their hate. Deep, cold, passionate, they have built their entire identity upon this hatred.
The early FUD was to keep you away. The shilling was done in a way intended to seem like a scam to you and drive you away. The memes were made annoying to your kind, and again, prevent you from buying in.
You were not supposed to get in time for any meaningful gains. Ideally you could have been buying the tops and selling the bottoms on every bump along the way, but as this can't be safely achieved, they wanted you to be out and stay out.
