Alright, now the most important parts of the glossary as judged by yours truly. I hope I categorized these well enough. There's a little bit of overlap with the links I posted about surface sampling but I included everything major for the sake of it. I probably put some unnecessary ones in the list but we can remove things that we deem excessive or not needed for basic learning. Also if I missed something important, we can always add something.

GEOLOGY:
>deposits
Banded Iron Formation (BIF); Epithermal deposit; Lode; Placer; Porphyry copper [not included in list: VMS, low sulphidation deposits]
>geological structures
Basal Till; Break; Disseminated ore; Fault; Footwall; Greenstone Belt; Hanging wall; Host rock; Native ore; Outcrop; Precambrian Shield; Strike; Vein

EXPLORATION:
>imaging & mapping
Aeromagnetic survey; Airborne survey; EM Survey; Geophysical survey; Induced polarization; Resistivity survey
>sampling
Anomaly; Assay; Bulk sample; Channel sample; Chip sample; Grab sample; Trench
>drilling
Core; Logging; Step-out drilling

MINING:
>mining methods
Block caving; Bulk mining; Cut-and-fill; Open pit; Room-and-pillar mining
>processing
Byproduct; Concentrate; Flotation; Mill
>recovery
Bio-leaching, Heap leaching; Leaching; Refractory ore
>other
Tailings; Tailings pond

Yeah I found out about those companies just a while ago myself too. I grabbed a bunch of companies and filtered some out and the ones I plan on researching that have operations in Newfoundland are: LAB (ongoing atm), GR, MOZ, QRO, SIC, SPMT, WHM. I'll try to pick one or two of these companies and maybe invest in those but I'll have to see what my bank account thinks about that as I'm a poorfag
>Really like that you're putting the work in by the way. Good shit.
Thanks, learning all the time. Won't make the same mistakes as I did with BHS for example
