$2000 is a meme, $40 is not a meme. BAT will hit it. Brave is a ducking search engine company now. Hit duckduckgos volume in 1 year that it took duckduckgo to hit in 7 or 8 year.

And the scandals with other competitors DDG and now metamask with their controversy of potentially leaking ip and wallet addresses. While Brave doesn't have any major controversy that causes it to hemorrhage users.... aside from ads dropping support of India but honestly that's a probably a good thing.

Yeah didn't mean to make it sound like it didn't have a future. I still have about 80% of my crypto in BAT. Brave is doing well, they still are committed to BAT and I don't ever see that changing.
I think in the beginning Brave probably didn't imagine themselves becoming a search engine company. I think them becoming one influences how they will see BAT. Since they still seem committed to it I believe BAT has a great future.

Maybe. I bought at .40 and all the way up to 1.90, then all the way down to .30. I guess time will tell if we are really retarded.

Brave is committed to BAT. They make almost all of their revenue with the help of BAT. They have a search engine that hasn't been monetized yet, over 400m monthly queries and it has been out for a little over a year. The userbase of the browser has been growing rapidly too, historically its been more than doubling each year. This year it looks like it will be a little less than double, on track for about 85-95m users EOY. Instead of hitting the 100m mark. But still adding 45 million users in 1 year would be huge.

BAT is essentially at max circulation. Brave can't just decide to dump BAT onto the market, or create BAT out of thin air. They have to buy BAT off of exchanges to reward users. How ads work is an advertiser can pay in BAT or USD. If Brave gets paid in USD 70% of it goes towards buying BAT off of the open market and then they distribute that BAT back to users.

When companies purchase ad campaigns they either pay Brave in BAT or USD. Brave needs to distribute 70% of the revenue back to the users who veiw ads so when they receive BAT directly they don't have to buy any. But when. The receive USD they use 70% of it to buy BAT off of the open market. Regardless of the price they will still buy BAT. They would buy at .35 each and at $40+ each - it makes no difference to them. They buy no matter what.
