Of course it *can* work, he's basically proposing to manipulate the post-consensus price to induce arbitrage... but if our blockchain begins price-fixing then the outcome is simple: our blockchain gets blacklisted. You think cexes will stand for that shit? Most of LUNC's trading volume happens off-chain.

Firstly, price-fixing didn't lead to hyperinflation (since it didn't and can't occur on the protocol level due to how validation is set up) - it was caused by the swap/mint/burn mechanisms controlled by the Market Module. Secondly, yes, you *can* achieve hyperdeflation, but it can't come from swaps that rely on price-fixed arbitrage. We have to play by the market's rules, because it sure as hell won't bow to ours! Duncan's prop is a no-go on a fundamental level.
