Neither would I but over the past two decades of excessive internet usage I have learned to ease off several of my expectations. For example I don't see an alien invasion or even disclosure happening any given moment anymore. :)
I'm not going to proclaim "nothing ever happens," but there sure are long long long periods of... well.... of when nothing happens.
Also, for comedic purposes, picrelated has been accurate too many times.

I have to agree with this.
"The Big Short" guys for sure had giga brains but in all honesty; for all of them it was most likely a "once in a lifetime" moment where they got lucky to have discovered and understood something before anybody else. They made the big bucks with "one bet" and kudos to them. Every other "prophecy" that one of them, most prominently Burry, proclaims I just omitt because if he was "twice a lifetime" lucky, he wouldn't tell anybody.
