This is something I've yet to understand.
March 10th EEA was announced. Since then ethereum went on a run.
Was the platform ready for anything, enterprise-wise? No.
Icos started getting announced, funded, shitcoins started appear out of thin air. Did any had a stable release? A working product? No.
Ethereum was another shitcoin before companies backed it up, with or without a truly functioning platform.
We've seen Chainlink being announced as a customer from some projects. That's whats going to give value to the network.

Yes, the tokenomics will make the chainlink tokens value itself considerably, but its undeniable the initial run will be prompted not by a fully adoption but by companies backing it (or not). And you dont really need the mainnet released for it.
