As far as your other points go, speed, mining locations, scaling, etc, doesn't matter. Bitcoin is a narrative, and there are people that will always want Bitcoin because of that. People who buy won't sell for a lower price and miners won't operate at a loss, so BTC is here to last. Note that I'm not saying XRP isn't the standard (for banking), just that BTC isn't a complete shitcoin.
