I apologize for the spelling errors it's 2am and my favorite thing to do is rant incoherently about boomers and how screwed millennials are, meanwhile Gen Z is so screwed they've adopted a brand of nihilism so potent I believe they will change what is an acceptable way of life in America.
Millennials are at their oldest in the cohort entering their early 40's. They still don't have the same level of home ownership nor the wealth of boomers. Look at politics, it's old senile farts that still think Russia is some sort of serious threat warranting crashing the economy. "We'll have to deal with gas prices to do our part in Ukraine". No one gaf about Ukraine, we want cheap gas again.
Millennials are super ineffectual and are just waiting to move up. Imagine an entire generations only option to wait for older people to die off to move up?
I hope that gen Z can make tiny homes look cool enough, that we all accept it, or figure out van life is probably better than wage slaving for 45 years to die in a expensive grave.
