Finding alpha is basically completely random, you can find something with solid fundamentals (relative to the rest of the market) and there is no guarantees it's going to be priced accordingly.
Last bullrun was the perfect example with completely worthless crap like SHIB being worth tens of billions based on nothing.
Meanwhile you have tokens generating millions in revenues to their holders each week with a P/S < 10.

The best you can do is try to find good metrics (Defilama/Cryptofees help tremendously these days), tokenomics then dig on twitter/telegram by asking questions. It will minimize your risk of loss, but don't expect to luck into a x100 no matter how much informations you have.
But it's likely still going to be a loser relative to what randomly pumps based on narrative, you just have to make peace with this fact otherwise you will just perpetually seethe and sometimes even miss on easy money.

Most people won't understand but it was MUCH riskier to buy Bitcoin before 2017.
Everyone thought it was a one time bubble (tulip mania).
The perception really started to change for crypto with Ethereum and the EEA announcements.

Also as a rule you tend to baghold during your first circle because you let yourself be caught in the euphoria and don't have a point of reference on whether or not it's time to sell.
Once you experience a bubble you tend to sell the next one thanks to pure trauma.

China has a big enough domestic consumer market to grow on its own these days. Russia is bound to become their captive market too these days due to europeans cutting bridges over Ukraine.

The biggest worrying sign about China is that they're still NOT a cultural export and are completely mogged in this department by South Korea and Japan. They will never be a global hegemon without it.
