I don't hate CMG, I buy their food. But their share price is nutty overvalued right now. They have to experience sustained and strong earnings growth just to justify their current valuation. Meanwhile, a single slow quarter could take their share price back towards 600 or under very easily. not to mention the fact that any surprise (disease outbreak, increased costs of food commodities, Mexico tariffs re-instated) would also take a significant chunk off their share price.

I don't think anyone from here has followed me so far in buying CMG puts. that's fine, as long as I try

I second the political angle, but I PROMISE YOU that it is at least 75% priced in. I don't want to waste any more breath cautioning people about weed stocks because there is a lot to discuss. But lots of the upside things are priced in, and remember that external competition (new players) and other market forces can crush any single weed company. I don't think buying it is a bad idea, but you can't just buy the top 5-10 companies and expect your investment to double without risk.
