It's not misleading. This is EXACTLY what I mean, I kinda don't understand how you do t see that you're falling into the mindset of the person I outlined in 2016. An oversaturated market where resumes are filtered out by algorithms en masse and given to HR Stacy (who doesn't understand a thing about STEM but looks pretty enough for the boss to keep around) to review and determine who should and shouldn't be forwarded to the hiring manager, personal merit is utterly meaningless. You're not understanding my point and this is goalpost moving; the initial advice given of "get STEM" lead to an abundance of meaningless STEM degrees. Employers aren't going to know the difference just because you can pass a fizzbuzz; regardless of how good your skills in the field are, you will have difficulty finding a job and have to rely on luck.

In admitting that degrees don't really matter because they're handed out like candy, you're unintentionally agreeing with my point. Jobs are flooded with resumes literally from around the world (especially India, for CompSci jobs), you think it doesn't take luck to get a position given the ratio of jobs openings for degree holders?

do you actually use intelligent tools like math when investing? or just listen to prophets like Richard Hearth?
