The team did say they're doing buybacks. I believed them. Figured they're using the $3,400,000 ICO funds they received. I know they didn't have the money to do buybacks otherwise. Think about it: As a startup your goal should be to reinvest your profit into the business so you can make more down the line, not to double the money of pajeets. But in this case the pajeets were them.

Now they're delaying their consumer app, which should have been a priority. In the white paper they said that once the consumer app is out, "marketing and development" will shift to "sales and support". Meaning that development will cease. But the development already ceased, or at least is on pause. Bagholders should be happy about learning this now than six months from now when they will pull the same thing they did with VIDT/VIDS conversion. "The industry has changed, our goals have shifted, etc."

Are they waiting for Acronis to take over? Or did they learn about Acronis... and realized it's not worth going after consumers because they cannot compete with them.

Acronis CEO bullish as specialist goes beyond backup:
https://www.computerweekly.com/news/252477862/Acronis-CEO-bullish-as-specialist-goes-beyond-backup
>Beloussov claims a certain uniqueness for the combination of backup and data protection – in the sense of protecting data from external threats – which the Acronis suite of product promises. “All the things we do are very unusual and no-one else does,” he said. “You can build it from five or 10 vendors, but it’d be very cumbersome.”
>“We are very aggressively seeking new partners. We have 6,000 service providers now, and we plan to grow that by 10x in three to five years’ time. “We are also looking at making five to 10 acquisitions per year. We have three companies in process right now."

I realized it's a different IP. I'm saying I'm replying to your arguments, but I don't care to convince whoever is writing them. I'm here to convince the anons who are not posting. As always.

No, he is wrong. Pic related and go on the Acronis home page for more info.

>Deal with scale-up experts
That's a nice spin on saying they purchased services from a no-name business consulting company (try to Google them) to help save them from their failure. Many of the other "facts" are also bullshit exaggerations.

Did Satsgang make this Fiverr-tier shill image? This image wouldn't be readable on Twitter and Reddit would ban it. So who was it made for? Makes you think.

>Acronis copypasta
Validating 50,000 documents a month, like AmSpec is doing, means it costs nearly one million dollars a year with V-ID to validate hashes on the blockchain versus $99 a year with Acronis (or less than $1000 if you use a server). And you only need one copy of Acronis per office: https://notary.acronis.com/

Acronis Notary costs $99 for the whole year and comes with a cloud backup solution, HDD image creation, and all the validations are free. That's right. Free. Because 99% of people who buy the cloud backup solution are not using notary services in the first place and they're subsidizing the transactions of those who do need the service.

Why would any company choose V-ID over Acronis is beyond me. Not only is it cheaper, but Acronis also works with every Fortune 1000 company.

Release date of Acronis Notary: 2016
ICO for V-ID: 2018 Q4 (and still work-in-progress as of 2020 with no consumer app - supposedly "coming soon")

Makes you think.

Here's one of the Acronis wallets: https://etherscan.io/address/0x00472c1e4275230354dbe5007a5976053f12610a

One customer can notarize once every 70 minutes (files gets batched to reduce costs for Acronis and make it virtually free for the customer). Now refresh that page and you will see a different client notarizing at least once every minute. It costs less than 2 pennies for Acronis to validate a hard drive. You can validate 20 times a day or 600 times a month. Costs less than $12 a month for Acronis if you do nothing but validate 24/7. V-ID charges a minimum of $54 per month for a subscription alone, not counting a $2.22 charge per file.

And another brainlet-tier argument. Acronis Notary is for more than just backups, including healthcare and government documents, contracts, bills, and creative works (they also hold a patent for preventing deepfakes fyi). See pic related.

>I was responding to your claim they are “#1 in the industry”
But they are. Why don't you post quotes from reviews about Windows 10 or Mac iOS. Try again.
