>Just because a lot of people call someone a pedo doesn't make them a pedo.
Good point.
>Vitalik isn't a pedo like Gavin Woods.
He still could be. Has he ever shown any interest in anyone? Also a weak argument, but it is plausible. I find it hard to believe someone as smart as him wouldn't be able to understand why the concept of posession can cause immense harm. It's also possible he is just looking at it in an extreme vacuum where he randomly found a secret USB on the ground and never ever shared it with someone or went looking for more, but this also seems unlikely as he seems like the kind of person to think about all aspects of a situation, something required for him to invent something like Ethereum and EVM.
To me it seems more likely like a wilfull ignorance.
The thought process would go like this:
"I have CP and I am not a bad person. Simply having CP does not cause harm because I am not a bad person".

I ran out of characters. It was funny, but the longer it goes on the more I think the concept of long text bad short text good is a really stupid meme. It's mostly ever used by people who prefer convenience over accuracy. Good in many cases, why waste time with nonsense arguments that change nothing, bad in many cases, it allows people to avoid often necessary confrontation with a feeling of superiority for their lack of effort. In most cases the opposite will be true, the chad hard worker on the left and the virgin on the right feeling neetpride.
Not to say that long text is automatically good. Oftentimes people write long pages of pure bullshit on faulty assumptions. I'm certain to have done the same many times.

This is really funny.
Original hacker didn't drain 100% so people piled on to grab.
