I see a lot of misconception about prenups from anons on this forum, and I want to make it clear to everybody because I hate how common this shit is.

Prenups... Get ready for it... Can... And I'm not being funny or trolling... Get thrown out by a judge based on circumstances or their perception of the situation.

So in a lot of cases based on how domestic courts are set up regardless of you having a prenuptial agreement in place, you can still lose half your assets and potentially more if children are involved.

Want a mostly fool proof way of keeping your assets out of your partners hands? Put everything under a family members name (assuming you have an amicable family situation) and don't allow your partner to share in expenses towards the purchase or maintenance of the asset. Ensure you're paying off any subsequent land tax that family member might own and you should be safe.

Hopefully this helps somebody in the future.
