YCC is exactly QE infinity. QE is printing $X amount and buying bonds with them to put downward pressure on longer term yields. YCC is a rate target without a dollar target. So they will print as much as necessary to buy as many bonds as necessary to keep yields below their target. It’s coming.

We’ll get official answer likely in September or maybe October. YCC is likely where we are going.

Barrick’s CEO is good at running a mining operation. He is not an economist. He’s ignoring the YCC that is coming which will give us steeply negative interest rates.

They've chosen the latter. YCC is coming. We will steep negative rates to inflate the debt away and assets go higher.

Yep, it's coming.
high inflation + low interest rates = negative interest rates

For those who are new and unsure of why PMs are rallying:

Fed is likely to change policies in an upcoming meeting to institute steeper negative real interest rates. High inflation + low interest rates = negative real yields.

Pick up more silver. Either round out to 100 toz or go up to 200. Silver has more upside, even if it is more volatile. We may see more dips, I don't know, But silver is going to be higher than it is by the end of the year. This is just the start of the bull run. You'll probably be kicking yourself for not getting in more. You have adequate liquid capital that you will not be needing it looks like. YCC is coming for your cash.

YCC is coming. No "news" or "good data" or "vaccine" is going to change the inevitable in a debt trap...and baby, we fucking trapped.

The problem is we are far worse off debt wise than we were last crisis. Debt to GDP has ballooned and we can't service the debt above zero percent rates and we can't keep the bubble inflated without going to negative real rates. We kind of did that with QE, but YCC is a whole other animal. It's unlimited QE. It's coming. It can't be a repeat, because there is no where else to go at this point.

This isn't here as some kind of academic curiosity. This will be the policy come September. Despite today's bloodiness, the underlying fundamentals are the same. We are going to steep negative interest rates.
