Why would anyone who isn’t already rich buy precious metals? I’ve never understood this. If you’re a young guy just starting out with not much capital, it makes absolutely no sense to buy shiny rocks as a “hedge against inflation”. You should be gambling on shartcoins if you have only a few thousand, to get your net worth up. When you’ve got 5 figs, get some reputable alts, 6 figs, BTC and ETH, and once you’ve hit 7 figs you can start thinking about diversifying into boomer rocks.
