Just go into a fucking trade. At least when I was as a electrician I'd go to the school house twice a week (paid time) and the other days you just go be a electrician on a job. Every year you get a pay jump, then after your 4th year you become a journeyman which is another pay jump. Once I'm bored with this job I'll probably go back to being a electrician. It was a sweet gig.
