Maybe your Christianity isn't serving you anymore?
To get up to the next level in life, you'll have to put away comforting and basically-correct morality, and drill down into the more nuanced truth, to see how the machinery of this world actually works - beyond good and evil - the most powerful force in human history - science.
Losing your religion will make you feel alive that's for damm sure. And maybe you can do something incredibly useful for humanity building on those skills you got after 10 years.
