Thought it'd be clear by now, almost a year after, that the main reason why restrictions or lockdowns are in place is not the virus lethality rather than how fast it spreads filling up hospitals. Most non-covid hospitalizations and surgeries have to be delayed because there's not enough resources and healthcare professionals to follow up, especially when you risk to infect patients. Nobody denies that if you are young and healthy you shouldn't be worried too much if you catch it (although young people dying from covid is not news) but if you play pretend that a disease that managed to infect 70 call center operators just because they were in the same room as one guy who was infected is not a big deal you are delusional.
