look at 2 dates, when women gained voting rights, 1920, and when boomers were born 1946, this means that they're exactly the generation whose mothers were around 26, who always had voting rights, the generations before them had no inherent understanding that from now on this will be a feminine phase, but the boomers do, because the generation of their parents already started tilting towards being female oriented, through their life the boomers inherited wealth but could clearly see how fast it reduces in value, and all of it can be traced back to women gaining power in society, but can they do anything about it? take away women's rights? of course not, so the boomers chose the next best option, which is to live it up as much as they can before the system inevitably collapses
this doesn't just apply to america though but america as the center of the empire dictates what every other country does as well, any country where women can vote, work, study and own property will go the same way into the collapse and then the rebuilding
it's not "nihilism" per se though, it's not like humanity as a whole is doomed or anything, but this system will collapse and then a next one will rise eventually, it's just the cycle of mankind, and there's no reversing it, once women gain financial and political power it'll just keep snowballing until it falls apart
