I don't really have a hard limit on the premium itself. But I fixed my upper limit at 1800 euros/oz. I simply don't buy anything whatsoever above that.
I bought some krugerrands this summer, when the gold prices dropped. I've spent most of my savings now. Pretty soon I'll have to switch to buying 2 rand coins, british sovs, or 20F. In any case, my limit remains the same: 1800 euros/oz.
Maybe I'll have to adjust this number later on, when gold prices start to climb. For now it seems like a good guideline to keep me on track.

Every hard asset is going to "moon" when the currency (and related financial instruments) self-destructs. We don't know exactly when this will happen, but it will. They've done nothing whatoever to reign in the issuance of debt, but rather they just keep printing trillions more every year.
