Silver pandas cost about $24.50.
I've bought tons of the pre-2015 pandas at this price. The pre-2015 pandas 1 toz/31.1g, post-2015 pandas are only 30g. The newer 30g pandas aren't any cheaper. Maybe some of the older years weren't popular among Chinese buyers but I don't care, I just want to stack PMs and the premiums are amazingly low here.

I also bought a 2023 (30g) gold panda for $1957 .
I'm looking to buy a 2011 (31.1g/1toz) gold panda for $2028.

Yes, it is. I have to say the 2023 panda design looks exceptional to me and even carries a premium compared to some other coins from recent years. It's a beautiful coin.

Gold pandas cost about $100 cheaper in China compared with US-based exchanges (custom fees probably).
Silver pandas can be bought at spot. I just bought another 30 of the 2011 and 2014 1oz coins for about $24 each. Phil harmonics and Maple leaves for about $25 and $26. Eagles are $29. So yeah premiums look lower across the board here. These are all from the Shanghai coin market which I usually buy from online via Taobao but I've been in person once and it's like 100 different LCS in one building. The most expensive coins I saw were some beautiful kilo gold coins with buddhas on them priced at well over $100k.
